What to expect on Sunday

At Radiant Church we do not have a dress code, come in whatever is most comfortable. You are welcome here. We place a great emphasis on people over process, and while our church service may not be a perfect production it is absolutely heartfelt and directs us all to Jesus in a very real way. Our services start at 10:00AM and run about two hours. We find people often stick around for a while after to have coffee together, we don’t kick anyone out if some great conversation is happening.

Raising up kids and families is important, really important. We have a Sunday School as well as youth and young adult gatherings mid-week. We will often have the youth and young adults assist in various aspects of a Sunday morning.

Our worship time is familiar and approachable, with songs you will recognize and others you may not because they’ve been written by our very own worship team. Some Sundays it’s one person with a guitar, other Sundays its our full worship team leading us along. This isn’t a show, it’s not a production, it’s a moment of worship.

Teaching time is chapter by chapter, verse by verse. We believe in an expository teaching format that allows us to take in the whole counsel of God. We encourage everyone to bring their bibles to Sunday, and read them every chance they get. Discipleship is a pillar for our church, and it happens in various ways throughout the week; one on one, in life groups, and discipleship groups. All of our efforts to grow closer to God must include being grounded and built up in His Word. You can expect biblical teaching to be an emphasis for us here at Radiant Church. If you’d like to check out our teaching library, we have that right here.

We do not take up tithes or offerings on Sundays. While this is an act of worship, we feel that it should be done cheerfully as everyone is led along by the Spirit to do so. We have giving instructions on this site if anyone feels prompted.

What you see is what you get, at Radiant Church. You are welcome here.

We are happily affiliated with Calvary Chapel in Canada.
